Update: The repair work on the Rex Cruse water tower is now complete. Water pressure in the zone should be steadily increasing back to normal.![]()

Although water has been restored at the majority of the affected homes, there are still some homes without water. The homes without water are dependent on the main line that had a break. The repair on the main line should be complete in a few hours, and water should be restored to the remaining affected homes by the early hours of the morning. ![]()

Most of the affected areas should have water restored. If you do not have full pressure currently, the water pressure will be increasing throughout the evening. Depending on where you live, in relation to the break, it may take longer for water to be restored. Status updates and boil notice updates will be posted to the Sherman, Texas - Classic Town. City crews have located the source of the water main break in southeast Sherman. They will be isolating the leak to the immediate affected area while re-pressurizing the remainder of the system.![]()

This morning, I had the opportunity to join Chief Jeffcoat at Parker Elementary School, speaking to the kindergarten classes. It was encouraging to interact with these bright young minds! After taking a poll, it's clear that playgrounds are at the top of their priority list!
